Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return or if you have a question, you can contact us here, where you can request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return (RMA) will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
We are not responsible for return shipments lost in transit. Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, you must report it to us within 3 days of delivery with photographic evidence so we can make it right. Failure to report visible damage within 3 days may result in your claim being denied.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to food safety reasons, the Meatdryer Smart Hook cannot be returned if the hygiene seal has been broken or if the device has been used. This is in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

Refused Customs / International Orders
If you refuse to pay customs duties or import taxes and the package is returned to us, we will deduct the return shipping costs and administrative fees from your refund amount.

Pre-Order Cancellations
You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund within 10 days of placing it. After 10 days, or once shipping processing has begun, standard return policies apply.

Other Purchase Channels
We are unable to issue refunds or accept returns for product(s) purchased from a retail or third party online store. Meatdryer Customer Service can only assist with purchases made through our online store. For all other purchases, please contact the store where you originally made your purchase.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification (subject to the Hygiene Exception above). As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
